So what is the count? The count is the standard of the thickness of the yarn. For example, one tael of cotton can be made into 30 yarns of 1 meter, that is 30 yarns, and one tael of cotton can be made into 40 yarns of 1 meter long, that is 40 yarns; 1 tael of cotton can be made into 60 yarns Yarn with a length of 1 meter, that is, 60 counts, in fact, the higher the count of the yarn, the finer the yarn, and the thinner the fabric weaved with such yarn, the softer and more comfortable the cloth is.

However, cloth with a high count requires high quality raw materials (cotton), and also requires relatively high requirements for spinning mills and weaving mills, so the cost of cloth is relatively high.

In the industry, the count of cloth is basically not concerned, because the choice of count is very small, generally there are 30S and 40S, and the application of 60S is very small. It can be said that 60S cloth is not suitable for bedding, because it is too thin!

Common buying mistakes:
Misunderstanding 1: The more counts, the better, the higher the counts, the thicker the cloth, and the higher the counts, the denser the cloth!
Not necessarily, the same density, the higher the count is better, but the bedding above 60S cannot be used; the higher the density, the denser the cloth; the lower the count, the thicker the yarn, and the thicker the cloth!

Misunderstanding 2: The cloth of 30 and 40 is very poor.
More than 95% of them are 30 and 40. It can be said that most of the bedding products we see now are 30 and 40, and the extra ones are 20 (the cloth is very thick) and 60; embroidery and printing are both , 30, 40, 60 only jacquard, satin, etc., and jacquard is relatively small.

Misunderstanding 3: Believe too much in technical data! Pursue high cost and high density!
People may say that it is 60 pieces, but I can say that it is 80 pieces. Who can tell me? There are too many people who don`t understand cloth, and what they can`t listen to is what they don`t.

Talking about buying experience:
At present, the main product fabrics in the market are all 40-count cotton. If you hear any merchant say that they are 60-count cotton, or even 80-count cotton, be careful. First of all, you have to look at the price. The purchase price of 60-count cotton fabrics is basically fifty or sixty. For a four-piece suit, the cloth is less than 9 meters long, plus the manual cost. If you do the math, the cost will be five to six hundred. If the monopoly is less than 800, don't even think about it, it must be fake.

If it is said to be 80 counts, don`t believe it, because the more counts, the more delicate the color of the cloth, and the denser the cloth will be. If you wash the 80 count cotton cloth, it is difficult to soak it, because it is too dense. up. In fact, it is enough to use 40 in life, and the cloth feels very good.
